The Italian boss was ruthlessly sacked following his sides spirited 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the Champions League.
But despite winning the Premier League title nine months prior, the club took the decision to part ways with Ranieri.
The reports of senior players unhappy with his regime stemmed from Ranieri apparently throwing away individual knobs of butter.

Yes, butter.
His infatuation with what went into his squads stomach took it's toll on the players who began to lose confidence.
Per the report from The Times, snacks which had been laid out for the players was tampered by Ranieri who binned butter to the shock of the players.
Well, there you have it. Who would of thought butter would piss off so many people?!
