'Zlatan Ibrahimovic - The Movie' Is Coming To The Big Screen Soon

'Zlatan Ibrahimovic - The Movie' Is Coming To The Big Screen Soon

A leading Scandinavian producer has revealed that a biopic film will be made about the life of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

With an estimated budget of around 5 million euros, the film will tell the story of Ibrahimovic's childhood in a 'harsh, underprivileged suburb' of Sweden called Malmö with his immigrant parents from the Balka, according to Variety.

It will also detail how he left Sweden and came to play for Ajax and Juventus, with Ibrahimovic himself co-producing or executive producing the movie.

In an interview via Variety, B-Reel Films producer Mattias Nohrborg described Zlatan's journey which will be based on his memoir "I Am Zlatan Ibrahimovic."

"Zlatan has had an unbelieving destiny; he was brought up in a ghetto where more than 90% of the youth end up being delinquents, and he made everything himself, he's completely self-learned." he said.

In other news, it looks like Zlatan Ibrahimovic's time at Manchester United may be coming to an end.

The striker arrived at Old Trafford in 2016 and immediately made an impact. He weighed in with 28 goals in all competitions before his season was cruelly cut short after suffering a gnarly knee injury.

He made a return in the summer, with United extended his stay, but he's failed to hit the heights of last season after coming back from injury.

Following the January signing of Alexis Sanchez, it appears United are set to let him leave. Per ESPN, Ibrahimovic is nearing a deal to sign for Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy.

The 36-year-old is reportedly in deep talks with the California-based outfit ahead of inking a lucrative contract.

If the move does transpire: "He will be signed with the help of targeted allocation money, which means he will not take up a designated player spot."

Galaxy are hoping to lure him away from England, while continuing their high-profile acquisitions. From David Beckham to Steven Gerrard, among others.
