David Beckham's Miami Team's First Signing Could Be A European Star

Good move?

Footballer, model, brilliant dad, all round great guy. Is there anything David Beckham can't do? Well owning a football club doesn't seem beyond him and based on who his first signing might be he could easily be a transfer guru too.

Becks, the very epitome of the perfect man even for those hetrosexual males in the room, should have his own franchise, shudder, in the MLS for the 2018 season as long as everything goes according to plan. And by everything we mean a stadium and, as is sadly always the case in football these days, money!

We're looking forward to Beckham's Miami team joining the MLS and giving us even more reason to care about the league that we only care about because of the players who go their to retire like Pirlo, Lampard and Gerrard.

And the former Real Madrid player is set to bring in one of his former teammates to America as his first signing with Spanish magazine Semana confirming that Iker Casillas will be moving to Florida to sign for DBeck.

The magazine claims that Iker and his wife Sara Carbonero will be moving out to the city in 2018 with his contract at Porto running till 2017 with the possibility of a one year extension if agreed by the club and player. That could mean him going straight to the MLS, having a year off or taking the Chinese dollar for a year before making the move to America.

Casillas has been playing in Portugal since the start of the season after being made surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu by Rafa Benitez and the club as they tried to sign David de Gea as his replacement only to be thwarted by a dodgy fax machine.

To be honest we'd love to see the former Manchester United winger sign a load of old Galacticos.
