Cristiano Ronaldo has been branded as being "on another level" as a compilation highlighted his extraordinary heading ability.

The 36-year-old Juventus superstar has already established that he will be going down as one of the finest players in the history of the sport.

Ronaldo is widely revered for his goalscoring ability, which has only been strengthened by his world-class headers.

The Portuguese forward showed early signs of what he was capable of doing in the air during his days at Manchester United.

But Ronaldo has continued to pull out gravity-defying headers and clinical finishing at both Real Madrid and Juventus.

One fan's compilation has spotlighted why the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is in a 'league of his own' when it comes to heading the ball.

One of the headers featured in the comp includes Ronaldo not being in the frame for Paul Scholes' sensational cross in United's Champions League clash with Roma.

"His reading of the game is probably his most underrated attribute as a footballer," one fan said.

While another tweeted: "Absolutely ridiculous talent. What a player!"

Someone else posted: "Flying Portuguese man. Most complete footballer in the game."

A fourth Twitter user simply wrote: "G.O.A.T. with a reason."

And a fifth added: "I wonder how this guy jumps."

Tony Cascarino claimed that Ronaldo was a "class above anyone" when it came to heading, saying that he has "taken heading to a new level and has mastered so many different types of header."

The former Chelsea man explained in 2019: "The range of headers Ronaldo can score is extraordinary and he has worked so hard to reinvent himself from the tricky winger who made his name at Manchester United a decade ago.

"The 34-year-old Portuguese has taken heading to a new level and has mastered so many different types of header when most players are lucky to be good at one or two.

"I always thought the best aspect of my game was my heading and there were not many better than me in England while I was playing.

"But Ronaldo is a class above anyone who has ever played the game."
