A video of Steven Gerrard is doing the rounds on social media after he pulled off an exquisite bit of play during a training session.

The 38-year-old Liverpool legend spots his man and perfectly pings the ball into his path.

Check it out below.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users feel that the Rangers boss would still be able to do the bits for the Scottish Premiership side.

The former England international has been a busy man in the January transfer window, bringing in Jermain Defoe on loan from Bournemouth as he looks to mount a title challenge against Celtic.

"It's so exciting to have the options because we haven't really had that," Gerrard told Rangers TV.

"We've only really had one or two ways of playing and we've tended to stick with that.

"When we use Jermain, if we use him with another forward, everyone else will maybe have to adapt and evolve."

Will Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title this season?
