Cristiano Ronaldo etched his name into the record books - once again - becoming the first player to score 20 goals in 12 straight seasons.

Ronaldo, 36, made history as he scored in Juventus' 3-0 win over Spezia last night.

His 20th Serie A goal of the season means he has now scored 20+ goals in 12 consecutive seasons in a remarkable feat as he shows no signs of slowing down.

Despite being in his mid-thirties, Ronaldo has gone from strength to strength as he brought up his 600th league appearance of his glittering career.

Ronaldo's strike on Tuesday continued his incredible goal-scoring streak with the Portuguese superstar scoring 48 goals in 48 league appearances in Italy.

What's more, since joining Juventus in 2018, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is the club's top scorer in all competitions, the league and the Champions League.

He has 91 goals in all competitions, 71 in the league and 14 in Europe.

Not to mention the top assister with 16 assists.

He's also the ONLY player to score 50+ goals in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.

Ronaldo has been ultra-prolific for the Italian giants since arriving in Turin, but his goal-scoring achievements has not impressed Antonio Cassano who branded him a "failure" at the club.

He said: "Juventus signed him to win the Champions League, but they've done worse with him than they've done before

"They'd also won the Scudetto [Serie A title] without him. I think he's been a failure."

Like Cassano mentioned, Juventus have yet to win the holy grail that is the Champions League since Ronaldo's transfer.

Though he has guided them to domestic success, winning the league title in each of his two seasons.
