It was certainly a mixed reaction...

Didier Drogba's hair is gone and we just don't know how to feel about it.

The former Chelsea striker took to social media this week to share an image of his new hairstyle and to the surprise of everyone he only went and shaved it all off, leaving us reminiscent of his old locks that once dominated the Premier League stage.

Captioning the post with the words: "15/12/2000 was the Beginning, 15/12/2017 Born is the new Me", Drogba's new style received a mixed bag of reactions from two of his former teammates.

It didn't take long for former Chelsea captain and regular Instagram user John Terry to pop up and take the piss out of Drogba.

Firstly Terry commented on the picture with several crying/laughing face emoji'. He then had the cheek to tag the likes of Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Michael Ballack, Michael Essien and Petr Cech in the picture of Drogba on his Instagram story.

Michael Essien, on the other hand, was rather complementary about Drogba's new look, saying: "My brother you are looking so fresh man."

It really was a mixture of emotions for everyone involved. I still can't get my head around it, to be honest.

It was also revealed earlier this week that Alvaro Morata is watching DVD's of Didier Drogba to improve his game.

"I put it on at home so I improve with Didier," he told Chelsea's club magazine via Metro.

"When I was seven or eight, I got a trampoline. My dad used to say to me all the time, 'come on with the head' and then pass the ball to me as I jumped.

I really think it's helped my heading game because I practiced this all the time with my dad."

Not a bad role model, Alvaro.
