The Moment Lionel Messi Sent Cesc Fabregas Back To Arsenal Without Even Touching The Ball

Now you see me, now you don't.

Cesc Fabregas may have trained and played with the great Lionel Messi for several years during his time in Barcelona, but the Spaniard still can't work out how to defend against him.

To be fair, not many players in world football have silenced the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

And during Wednesday night's Champions League tie at the Camp Nou, a certain Fabregas was sent to the shops by the brilliance of Leo.

Messi's famous drop of the shoulder was too much to handle for Fabregas, who lost his footing and fell to the ground.

As you can see in the above post, the UEFA Champions League account tweeted about the moment. We might have watched this three or four times now.

The Argentinian continued to strike fear into Chelsea's defence throughout the game and he eventually managed to bag a brace as Barcelona strolled through to the quarter-finals.

They had no chance, in all honesty.

Lionel Messi not only got himself on the score-sheet but also created a goal, and what a quite ridiculous assist it was.

He scored the goal to level the game at Stamford Bridge, and bagged a sublime brace to dump the Premier League champions out of Europe.

And while he nutmegged Thibaut Courtois not once but TWICE, he also fashioned Ousmane Dembele's first goal for the club in absolutely stunning style.

The Argentine hero latched onto a loose ball, before skipping past two Chelsea defenders. From the edge of the box, Messi supplied Dembele with an incredible ball.

Thoughts on Messi's performance against Antonio Conte's side last night? Is he the best ever?
