Robert Lewandowski has surpassed Raul to become the third all-time top goal-scorer in Champions League history.
Lewandowski opened the scoring against Lazio on Tuesday to score his 72nd Champions League goal.

The Bayern Munich striker pounced on a defensive mistake to overtake the legendary Real Madrid forward.
The defending champions went onto beat Lazio 4-1 in the first leg of their round of 16 tie.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo (134) and Lionel Messi (119) have scored more Champions League goals than Lewandowski, who continued his incredible record in the knockout stages of the competition.

The Polish international now has 25 goals in the Champions League knockout rounds.


The 32-year-old is enjoying another ultra-prolific campaign following his heroics last season.
He has bagged a ridiculous 32 goals in 31 games in all competitions for Bayern this term.
He has 26 Bundesliga goals, four Champions League goals and two goals in other cup competitions.
