Cristiano Ronaldo remains on course to break several different records before he calls it time on his illustrious playing career, according to a fan's Twitter thread.

The 35-year-old Juventus superstar has put in a strong showing for his club this season before Serie A was suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

But a Twitter user, Silver, has compiled a thread with the 'craziest projected [...] career records' that Ronaldo is still on course for shattering.

The Portugal captain could become the first player to hit 200 caps for his national team, with Ronaldo currently sitting on 164 appearances.

Silver pointed out that Ronaldo could reach the milestone should he make at least nine appearances for Portugal per year, which would take him up to the Euro 2024 competition.

Another feat includes the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star breaking Pele's all-time goalscoring record of 757.

Ronaldo has scored a whopping 725 times -- five more since the thread was produced -- and only needs 33 goals now to surpass the legendary Brazilian's record.

Posted below are the other records that Ronaldo could break before he retires from football.
