Barcelona have today confirmed the club's new training ground will be named after Johan Cruyff.

The Catalan club are undergoing huge changes which will see the Nou Camp upgraded to a 105,000 seater stadium.

Imaginatively named, Nou Camp Nou, the current stadium will see a roof implemented over it's top tier within the next four years.

But the club will also have a new training ground and today, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed it will be named after Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff.

Cruyff spent five years at the Catalan club as a player between 1973 and 1978 before returning as manager in 1988 where he guided Barca to four La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and a European Cup.

A year on from his death, Barcelona have held a series of memorial events for the Dutch legend where they revealed the news that the new training ground will be named 'Estadi Johan Cruyff'.

A great tribute for a great man.
