18-year old Lamine Diaby-Fadiga has had his Nice contract terminated for stealing teammate Kasper Dolberg's £62,000 watch.
Former Ajax striker Dolberg, who joined the club in a £18 million summer move, noticed his watch had gone missing on September 16 and went to the police to report it.
Diaby, who has been with the club since he was 13, emerged as a suspect and according to AFP, the player admitted to the theft following a police investigation - apologising to his teammates and manager Patrick Vieira.

He also pledged to reimburse Dolberg for the value of the watch.
But despite only recently signing his first professional contract with the club, L'Equipe say Nice felt they had no option but to terminate his contract and informed him of their decision on Monday.
The striker, said to be one of the most promising prospects to come through the Nice academy in years, won't be without a club for long however as he is poised to sign a deal with Ligue 2 side Paris FC.

Paris have just signed former Roma, AC Milan, and PSG forward Jeremy Menez on a free, with the Frenchman penning a one-year deal following his release from Mexican side Club America.
Diaby-Fadiga made his Nice debut as a 16-year old in a Europa League game against Vitesse and went on to make a further five appearances for the club.
