Alexandre Lacazette conjured up a sublime finish to score Arsenal's equaliser against Liverpool at the Emirates and it looks like the Frenchman celebrated before the ball even crossed the line.

The former Lyon striker notched in the 82nd minute, expertly timing his run to receive Alex Iwobi's delightfully threaded pass, rounding Alisson and then curling into the far corner despite being off balance.

It was a wonderful goal from Lacazette and it appears as though he knew he'd scored as soon as the ball left his foot, judging by one outstanding picture doing the rounds on social media.

Lacazette then performed a knee-slide, celebrated with the fans before producing a saucy "stirring pot" dance as a nod to NBA star James Harden.

Lacazette has now scored 23 goals for Arsenal, with 17 coming at the Emirates.

Former Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi believes Lacazette's fine form is down to the fact he's now pretty much a guaranteed starter under new boss Unai Emery.

I think it's because he's playing week in week out (we are seeing his best)," he said on Sky Sports' Goals on Sunday.

"I don't think that happened last season, I think he was in and out. And as a striker it's important to have that run of games, to know that the manager believes in you.

"I think he's really got that now under the new manager. You're just seeing the quality that he's got."
