Liverpool's new home strip will be on viewing against Brighton in the Premier League, but not in the Champions League final less than two weeks later vs. Real Madrid.

The 2017/18 campaign is drawing to an end with clubs launching and unveiling new kits ahead of next season.

Including Liverpool who have introduced a stylish new home shirt courtesy of New Balance.

And the Anfield faithfuls will see the kit in action on Sunday. But not in the Champions League final.

Here's why?

Per UEFA regulations, clubs must assign which kits they will wear prior to their Champions League campaign, and changes cannot be made.

I guess Liverpool won't mind too much considering it's the strip which has seen them secure a Champions League final spot, and beat the likes of AS Roma and Manchester City along the way.

To commemorate the clubs 125th anniversary, Liverpool and their kit suppliers have brilliantly donated 125 shirts as well as trainers to children from Anfield schools involved in the Reds Neighbours community programme.

A teacher at Florence Melly Community Primary School, said: "We're extremely grateful to both Liverpool FC and New Balance for these amazing gifts. This is a day that the children will never forget."
