It Looks Like Arsenal Will Have A New Kit Sponsor Sooner Rather Than Later

Interesting.

It looks like Arsenal could be in line for a big-money transfer, with their current kit suppliers Puma apparently about to make-way for German giants Adidas.

The Gunners only signed with Puma back in 2013 after spending two decades with American behemoth Nike, but it now appears the hierarchy at the Emirates is keen to improve its current terms.

Arsenal's Puma deal is set to run out in the summer of 2018 and the Mirror is claiming Adidas are willing to offer around double the £30 million per-season that Puma currently pay for the rights to make the iconic red and white shirt.

When Arsenal signed on with Puma, it was the biggest kit sponsorship deal in Britain, but a lot has changed in the following four years.

Manchester United, Chelsea and even Tottenham have all signed sizeable kit deals dwarfing Arsenal's.

Puma have been a solid kit supplier for Arsenal, producing a number of great designs, but one moment in particular sparked headlines back in 2016.

When Tottenham Hotspur watched any Europa League dreams they had go down the drain as they were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Borussia Dortmund, Puma trolled their North London rivals on Twitter.

Mauricio Pochettino wasn't the most popular man among Spurs fans after choosing a weaker starting eleven and Marco Reus ensured his side would take a comfortable lead to London next week as he bagged a double following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's opener.

Then this happened.

The Lilywhites were absolutely destroyed by Arsenal's kit manufacturer PUMA as the sportswear company took to Twitter to congratulate Dortmund on their victory with a huge dig at the away side.

Away from their current kit supplier, how do you think an Arsenal Adidas home shirt would look? Would you buy it?
