As we all know, the most important part of football isn't which team scores the most goals, wins the most trophies or even who has the most hysterical post-match fancams. It's the kits. It will always be the kits. And the official club tracksuits. And the occasional pair of boots. And the hairstyles of South American strikers in the '90s. But mainly, it is always the kits.

And as if we needed any further evidence of this, Adidas have unleashed their collection of new home kits for next summer's World Cup in Russia, many of which are inspired by some of the German sportswear giant's finest efforts from tournaments past.

But, out of all these retro inspired efforts, it is Colombia's new home kit that is raising the most eyebrows.

Drawing inspiration from Los Cafeteros' 1990 World Cup shirt, the 2018 model, modelled by Real Madrid/Bayern Munich midfielder James Rodriguez, has quickly become a favourite among kit connoisseurs.
