Kepa, a £71 million signing from Athletic Bilbao, has made mistakes at an alarming rate since joining Chelsea and was subject to plenty of criticism on social media after the tame Clark effort squeezed past him.
Since the start of last season, Kepa has a save percentage of just 58.8% - which is the lowest of any Premier League goalkeeper with 20 or more appearances in that time.
A couple of weeks ago in the FA Cup third round, Morecambe's bench hit headlines after they were heard shouting, "SHOOT!" any time they had a sight of Kepa's goal in the 4-0 loss at Stamford Bridge.
Lots of cries of "shoot" from the Morecambe bench on the rare occasions they have got within 40 yards of Chelsea's goal. It's like they think the world's most expensive goalkeeper might be a bit unreliable...
