Roy Keane Savagely Shuts Down Jamie Carragher On Liverpool's Premier League Title Failure
Roy Keane issued a brutal put down to Jamie Carragher over Liverpool's Premier League title failure.
Keane and Carragher went back and forth on 'Super Sunday' as they discussed the mounting problems at Manchester United following their defeat to West Ham United.
The ex-Liverpool defended suggested a few transfers could turn United's fortunes around, highlighting Liverpool's signing of Luis Suarez.
"I was in this position at Liverpool where you are trying to catch teams," he said on Sky Sports.
"Sometimes you just need that two or three players who can transform them. I think of Luis Suarez coming to Liverpool.
"For three or four years we were finishing sixth and seventh, where United are and then almost won the title.
"Sometimes that one player can make all the difference."

I'm not usually amused by Roy Keane but him burning Carragher about Liverpool still trying to "bridge the gap" because "you've not won a title yet" was hilarious :joy::joy: #RoyKean #SkySports #ManchesterUnited
