Kasper Schmeichel officially has the strongest wrists in the Premier League after he made a stunning one-handed save to deny Marcus Rashford in the 2-2 draw between Leicester City and Manchester United.

England striker Rashford opened the scoring with a calm finish in the first half of the game at the King Power Stadium but it was Schmeichel who came out on top in their second duel.

With the scores at 1-1, Rashford was played through superbly by Fred and raced towards goal after taking the ball in his stride. He cocked back his right leg and hit a rasping effort with some serious conviction.

Denmark No.1 Schmeichel was able to get the strongest of hands to thwart Rashford when he looked nailed-on to double his goals tally for the day.

With no crowd noise, you can appreciate just how powerful a strike it was from Rashford - and the sound of the ball stinging against Schmeichel's gloves is incredibly satisfying.

The BT Sport pundits spent a considerable amount of time gawking over Schmeichel's heroics through the use of multiple camera angles, with former Foxes midfielder Robbie Savage causing a stir by describing it as "the save of the season".

Schmeichel made the save on the hour mark but was beaten by a much scruffier finish from Bruno Fernandes after Edinson Cavani assisted him in the 79th minute.

Leicester secured a deserve point after Jamie Vardy's effort from an Ayoze Perez cross went in off Axel Tuanzebe just five minutes from time.
