Chris Kamara was hilariously on punditry duty for a rugby league game (yes, rugby) amid the coronavirus crisis.

Premier League and the EFL have suspended their leagues until April 3 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

But the lack of football hasn't stopped 'Kammy' from doing work for Sky Sports as he was in the studio for Sunday's rugby league clash between Castleford and St Helens.

Why was Kamara doing work on a rugby league fixture?

Well, because Sky Sports invited him as a studio guest.

Needless to say, Kamara doing rugby league punditry sent social media into overdrive.

"Are football pundits being redeployed? If so, I'd like to see Alan Shearer do darts," one social media user wrote.

A second tweeted: "Unbelievable" while a third wrote: "I'd like to have Geoff Stelling calling home the Grand National."

Another added: "Chris Kamara doing Rugby League punditry, is it? Looks quite ridiculous. What next? Ex-hockey players hosting Premier League shows?"

Unbelievable, Jeff.
