Maurizio Sarri has been sacked by Juventus after being knocked out in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 against Lyon. Juventus will now be looking for a new manager.

Juventus are now looking for a new manager after sacking Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian manager joined Juventus in the summer of 2019 after resigning from Chelsea to join the Turin-based team. However, after their recent exit from the UEFA Champions League to Lyon, the Juventus board have had enough with Sarri.

Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite to take over after sources claimed that Pochettino has been in talks with Juventus for over three weeks.

Alfredo Pedulla has also agreed with us, with Pochettino being the favourite saying that the talks were in progress.

Juventus fans haven't been friendly towards Sarri for a while now after his boring style of play has been constantly criticised by them. The signings of Matthijs De Ligt, Adrien Rabiot, and Aaron Ramsey have also had torrid debut seasons for Juve with De Ligt only impressing after the restart.

Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to be angered and frustrated with the playstyle Sarri had incorporated into the club, nearly leaving for PSG in February and also looking visibly frustrated after the loss to Lyon in the Champions League.

However, it looks like Pochettino will be the next Juventus manager.
