Bellingham starred as Dortmund beat Besiktas 2-1 to open their European campaign with a victory.
He scored his side's first goal before turning provider, setting up Haaland.
And the Norwegian phenom hailed the England international, describing the budding midfielder 'fantastic' after his brilliant showing in Turkey.
Haaland's praise came after Bellingham planted a cheeky kiss on his teammate during a post-match interview.
"He was amazing," the 21-year-old forward said when asked about the 18-year-old.
"He's 18 - three years younger than me - it's crazy! What can I say?
"He's amazing He is 18-years-old and plays so incredibly well. He is fantastic."
Haaland added: "We fought hard and we did good so I'm happy with the win.
"It was a tough game. That was an important victory. I am very happy with the win.
"I'm a goal-scorer, that's my job. So, I have to score goals."

Bellingham, who picked up the Man of the Match award, loved the atmosphere and spoke about the big result.
"It was a brilliant atmosphere. The most important thing is that we won the game," he said.
"That was our job today. It went back and forth, a bit like basketball. We are very happy with the first few games.
"It's so much fun to win football matches with Borussia Dortmund.
"We have to continue like this."
