Jose Mourinho Sums Up Zlatan Ibrahimovic In Three Words

Not an easy challenge

Given how divisive a character he is, summing up Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no easy task. To do so in three words is nigh on impossible. However, Jose Mourinho has attempted to describe the new Manchester United recruit in such a manner and hasn't done a bad job, at all.

Mourinho and Ibrahimovic have reunited at Old Trafford following a successful season together at Inter Milan in 2008/09, so the Portuguese coach is pretty well versed in all the quirks of the former Sweden captain's character.

Speaking with Adidas Front Row, Mourinho chose a trio of words that he feels perfectly encapsulates the former PSG, AC and Inter Milan enigma:

"Zlatan, three words - he's a winner, he's a goalscorer, and he's funny - he's a funny guy. You need to understand him. He's a funny guy, and if you don't know him, maybe you think with some quotes, he's a bit arrogant. But, he's just a funny guy. So, I would just say that. Funny, winner and goalscorer. I was so happy to get him, and obviously, he's happy to work for me now."

We can imagine there's a fair few people who would agree with Mourinho's analogy and just as many people who could think of three rather less complimentary words to describe Zlatan.
