Jose Mourinho has produced a priceless post on Instagram after his Spurs side lost 1-0 to Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp.

Lior Refaelov scored the only goal of the game as Spurs succumbed to a disappointing defeat in their second Europa League group stage game of the season.

It was a poor showing from Spurs and Mourinho, who made nine changes for the fixture, took to social media to post a picture of him on an empty team bus, with his face mask on, looking very miserable.

The caption accompanying the image was just absolutely superb from the Portuguese manager.

"Bad performances deserve bad results," Mourinho wrote.

"Hope everyone in this bus is as upset as I am. Tomorrow 11AM training."

It's just the latest in a string of incredible Instagram activity from Mourinho. He's the last manager you'd expect to be on social media and yet he's out here producing gold irrespective of the result.

So far his posts have included pictures of him eating popcorn on the flight to Belgium, moaning about players being on their phones in the dressing room and joking about his height to make a point of how the goals are much bigger in Shkendija.

Mourinho has been box office in press conferences during his career and now, moving with the times, he's become ncredible entertainment on Instagram.

Mourinho made a quadruple half-time substitution in tonight's loss and without naming any names, highlighted his frustrations with some of the club's fringe players.

"You know what our best team is. I always like to think the players deserve an opportunity. We have a big squad," he said post-match.

"It's also their opportunity to catch the chance with both hands and ask for more.

"[After] Tonight my future choices are going to be very easy."
