Chelsea star Jorginho hilariously sacrificed his beard after agreeing to a brilliant Champions League final bet.

Jorginho and co. beat Manchester City 1-0 in Porto to become European champions thanks to a first-half goal from Kai Havertz.

The Brazilian-born Italian international struck a wager with TNT Sports reporter Fred Caldeira over their all-English showdown.

The terms were that the Blues midfielder would be forced to have his beard shaved off by Caldeira, who himself would also have to remove his moustache if Chelsea won the competition.

So, after Chelsea beat Man City, Caldeira whipped out an electric shaver and shaved off Jorginho's beard.

Caldeira went to work, shaving most of Jorginho's beard before the midfielder returned the favour and shaved off his counterpart's moustache.

Both men then looked at themselves through a mobile phone in a hilarious moment.

Speaking after his side's Champions League triumph, an emotional Jorginho touched on his rise as a professional footballer.

"It's incredible. Look at this! It's incredible," he told Sky Italia.

"It's amazing. I was going to quit football and my parents made me continue. Now they are here tonight and I won the Champions League!"

On the game, Jorginho added: "How did that happen? How? Manchester City are a great team, they cause so many problems, they keep the ball, they make you run hard and work constantly, always on your toes.

"We went through all of it and we won. I've got goosebumps!

"When people say there are no words, they mean it. I am speechless. This was an important step in my career, but it doesn't end here.

"My hunger remains the same, I have to keep working hard to improve both for Chelsea and the Nazionale."
