Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the show in yesterday's EFL Cup final as the Swede continued his supreme knack of winning games and producing big moments with a brace - the second of which was the winning goal in the 87th minute.

Southampton's Manolo Gabbiadini was also on form and scored two very well-taken goals and would have had three had it not been for a poor call from the linesman.

Here was Gabbiadini brilliant second goal:

And though the game definitely belonged to Zlatan, his teammate Jesse Lingard also achieved a bit of greatness with yet another goal at Wembley.

Lingard's tidy finish in the first-half means that he has no scored at Wembley in the FA Cup final, Community Shield and EFL Cup.

And he's only the third player in history to achieve such a feat.

Before Lingard had struck for the third time at Wembley, only two Welshman had done so, as former Manchester United striker and current Stoke City boss Mark Hughes and Liverpool legend Ian Rush were the only two players to have scored at Wembley in three different competitions.

It's worth noting that their goals came at the old Wembley Stadium, meaning Lingard is the only player to have scored at the new Wembley in three separate finals.

And he reacted brilliantly on Instagram with the following post:

Should United reach the FA Cup final this year and Zlatan Ibrahimovic get on the scoresheet, he will also make the list having scored in both the Community Shield and League Cup final.
