Jarrod Bowen has become the subject of a very rude chant after news of his relationship with Dani Dyer came to light.

The West Ham United midfielder is dating the Love Island star, who is the daughter of actor and big Hammers fan Danny Dyer.

West Ham recorded a 1-0 derby victory of Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium, and fans of the east London club drew attention to Bowen's relationship with Dyer by singing: "Bowen's on fire and he's sh***ing Dani Dyer."

It has reportedly caused plenty of embarrassment to Dyer, who believes the chant has overstepped the mark and gone beyond harmless banter.

A source told The Sun: "Dani is really embarrassed about the whole thing. Her dad Danny is of course a huge West Ham fan so she hates the idea that he has to hear about her when he watches the games.

"She understands Jarrod will get a bit of ribbing, but it's too much when they are singing about her sex life."

Her dad Danny is lifelong fan of the club and explained that seeing his beloved team break into the top four was a better feeling than becoming a grandfather for the first time.

"I think I can safely say that having my first beautiful grandson was the second-best thing to happen to me this week," he wrote on Instagram.

"Come on you f***ing Irons."

Bowen has made 13 appearances across all competitions so far this season for David Moyes' side, scoring two goals and claiming three assists.

After Sunday's win over Spurs, West Ham now turn their attention to a Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Manchester City at the London Stadium on Wednesday. They then return to Premier League action on Sunday for a match away at Aston Villa.
