Jamie Carragher has responded to Roy Keane's brutal put-down on Sky Sports last night.

Carragher moved into the studio from the gantry after Liverpool's win over Chelsea as he Keane, Graeme Souness and Jose Mourinho discussed all the major talking points on 'Super Sunday'.

Of course a big focus was on Manchester United's horrible run of form continuing. Carragher stated that a few transfers could turn things around at Old Trafford and gave an example of how Luis Suarez's arrival almost steered Liverpool to the Premier League back in 2014.

The word "almost" being key because seven-time Premier League winner Keane picked up on it right away and reminded Carragher that he never won a Premier League title.

The Liverpool legend reacted on Twitter this morning, saying he will take the defeat on the chin and come back stronger when the two do Monday Night Football next week.

It wasn't the only time Carragher was trolled by a Manchester United legend for failing to win a Premier League.

Prior to the Manchester United-West Ham game, Carragher's MNF partner in crime Gary Neville couldn't resist a dig at him when talking about the guests in the studio.

"Well I'm here (London Stadium) think I've been dropped," Neville said, speaking to Laura Woods on Sky Sports.

"There's some Premier League titles in that studio.... and Jamie Carragher!"

He was no doubt buzzing that Liverpool claimed a fourth consecutive win but it wasn't exactly a great day for Carragher...
