Jadon Sancho hasn't even started a single game in the Bundesliga this season and yet he's the top assister in the top five European leagues.

Jony, Lionel Messi, Tanguy NDombele, Dimitri Payet and Cristiano Ronaldo have all provided four assists for their teammates this term, yet former Manchester City man Sancho has set up a goal on five different occasions.

What's even more impressive is the fact that the managed to take the assist king status in just 125 minutes of action - making a massive impact every time he's been sent on by Lucien Favre.

The 18-year old Englishman was again a sub for the game against Bayer Leverkusen, coming on for Christian Pulisic in the 68th minute and completely turning the game on its head.

Dortmund had just pulled one back to to get the score to 2-1 and then just over a minute after entering the fray, Sancho churned out a wonderful assist.

Receiving the ball in his own half from goalkeeper Roman Burki, he led a breathtaking counter attack, playing a couple of one-two's with Marco Reus before cutting the ball back to him to slam home the equaliser.

He wasn't done assisting there though; Sancho had one more sublime set-up left in him for Paco Alcacer's second strike to make it 4-2 in the 90th minute.

The England youth international has averaged a goal or assist every 73.5 minutes since making the switch to Germany but he's made it clear he isn't satisfied with being a 'bench player'.

"I just had a bit more energy, you know," Sancho told the official Bundesliga website when asked about what he provided in the Leverkusen clash.

"The rest were a bit tired and I came on to help the team. The coach keeps rotating so that's how strong this team is. Obviously, I don't want to be a sub - but if I keep on working hard hopefully I can get in the starting XI."

Gareth Southgate, get him in the squad now...
