Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is probably feeling a little bit embarrassed after he managed to get his own age wrong during an interview.
The England international is currently spending the season on loan at Bournemouth, but his medium to long-term future remains up in the air as it remains unclear if Arsenal will want to take him back in the summer.
Aside from that, it's not even clear if Wilshere would want to stay, and in a recent interview with Sky, he took his age into consideration when weighing up his options:
Jack Wilshere on Sky: "I've started to realise I'm not that young any more. You know, I'm 24." It's amazing he's still playing at that age.

Wilshere turned 25 on New Year's Day but he seemingly forgot about that during this interview and people were quick to pick up on it.
That would be 25-year-old Jack Wilshere https://t.co/baXh7c7jPv

I mean he's been 25 for a few months. It's hard to describe how dumb Jack Wilshere is https://t.co/2CKXkNGsNt

Maybe he just needs a little bit of time to get used to not being 24 anymore...
And to think there's a stereotype going about that footballers are stupid, eh?
Lets just hope somebody close to him sits him down and breaks the news to him that he's actually a year older than he thought.
