Jack Grealish's old tweets about Cristiano Ronaldo have resurfaced online ahead of a potential link-up at Manchester City.

Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus this summer, with Man City reportedly in line to swoop ahead of transfer deadline day.

The thought of Ronaldo plying his trade at the Etihad is frightening considering the attacking options the club boast. From Kevin De Bruyne to Grealish, who moved earlier this window.

And the £100 million man grew up a Ronaldo super-fan, judging by his old tweets from 2011 to 2013.

In one tweet, he wrote: "Just found its El Classico next Saturday...BOOM !!! Watch Ronaldo RIP up big time!! #TeamRonaldo"

A second post reads: "El Clasico !!! Woooooo !!! Can't wait !! Ronaldo or Messi peeps??? Ronaldo is the man !!! #RealMadrid !!!!"

Another reads: "Come on now marc, ronaldo all day haha! U just what Ronaldo did to pique oops haha."

Grealish starred as Man City lost to Tottenham in their Premier League opener.

But the Blues returned to winning ways against Norwich, with the England international scoring his first goal for his new side in their 5-0 win last weekend.

Grealish could record a lot more goals and assists if Ronaldo does indeed return to England by heading to Man City.
