Croatia exited the Euro's following their narrow defeat to Portugal in the Last 16, while horrible news has surfaced with hooligans reportedly attacking star midfielder Ivan Rakitic's holiday villa.

The 28-year-old visited Croatia island Ugljan where him and his family rented a luxury villa in Bay Čeprljanda, though is planned getaway has greeted by a group of hooligans, as they hurled stones at the house soon smashing windows and doors, as reported by DNEVIK.hr.

According to the report six men targeted the house as Rakitic and his family were inside fending for their lives, but after suffering the ordeal they fled the scene via a speedboat seeking for safety. Sounds like a Hollywood movie, yet, in all seriousness, even away from football hooligans continue to rage havoc.

The Croatian's were charged over crowd disturbances during the Euro's for their involvement in trouble against both Czech Republic, and then Turkey. The nation have been rife with footballing violence in the past decade who have shown their displeasure to Croatian FA (HNS) president and legend Davor Suker.

The Croatian outlet claims this is an "ugly, embarrassment and shame."
