Ivan Perisic And Luka Modric Hint Towards Inter Milan Transfer On Instagram

Together, Ivan Perisic and Luka Modric have sent Inter Milan fans into meltdown on social media with their activity on Instagram.

Real Madrid midfielder Modric has been heavily courted by the Nerazzurri this summer, with talk that a six-year contract - which includes a two-year stint with their Chinese sister club Jiangsu Suning, is on the table.

And he's only fueled speculation today. Perisic posted a picture of himself and the other two Croats at Inter, Marcelo Brozovic and recent addition Sime Vrsaljko but cheekily tagged his compatriot Modric in the image and put "#whoismissing?" on his caption.

But that wasn't all. The World Cup player of the tournament then liked the post, further hinting that he could be moving to the San Siro and complete a Croatian quartet, as well as potentially creating a dreamy midfield partnership with new signing Radja Nainggolan.

While it doesn't quite confirm that the 32-year old will be joining Cristiano Ronaldo in Italy, the teasing is absolute top-tier.

It's been reported today that Modric held crunch talks with Florentino Perez regarding his future, with Marca saying Los Blancos are trying to get him to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The former Spurs midfield metronome returned to Real training today after enjoying a hard-earned rest following his wonderful World Cup campaign.
