IT'S OFFICIAL: Radja Nainggolan Only Scores Long-Range Worldies

The Belgian has only gone and done it again...

Has Radja Nainggolan ever scored a goal that wasn't an absolute worldie? The Belgian opened the scoring for Cagliari nine minutes into the visit of SPAL this afternoon with a trademark net-buster.

After the ball wasn't fully cleared from a free-kick, the ball dropped to the former Roma man and he controlled the ball on his chest before unleashing an unstoppable 30-yard half-volley that flew into the top bins.

The technique is absolutely sensational and fortunately the second camera angle does it justice. It's his first goal since returning to Cagliari for a second goal and of course it just had to be a rasping long-range effort.

Genuinely, there aren't many better at striking the ball from distance than Nainggolan. He's made a habit from smashing in screamers for Roma, Inter and Belgium and somehow seems to better his previous effort.

This one, though, could well be the best of his career so far. The movement of the ball and the bulging of the net is so, so satisfying.

Nainggolan played for Cagliari from 2010 to 2014 before he made the move to Roma but has headed back to the Sardinian outfit as his wife continues to battle cancer.

The 31-year old's wife, Claudia Lai, is originally from Cagliari and started undergoing chemotherapy treatment in July.
