The Italy team bus almost left their training base in Florence without assistant coach Gianluca Vialli in hilarious scenes.

Italy face England in the final of Euro 2020 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Roberto Mancini's side have looked formidable in the tournament, with the ex-Manchester City boss resurrecting the national team following their absence at the 2018 World Cup.

He has been aided by former Chelsea striker Vialli, who has served as his assistant.

But the Italy squad nearly departed to London without Mancini's right-hand man.

As the players and coaching staff boarded the bus, it drove away without Vialli taking his seat.

An official brilliantly realises that he has forgotten the 57-year-old, putting his hands on his head in disbelief.

The bus then pulls up, reopening its doors for Italy's No.2.

The Azzurri topped their group before eliminating Austria, Belgium and Spain in the knockout stage.

They beat Spain on penalties to book their spot in the final.
