He left the Premier League for France when he joined AS Monaco in 2014, but it looks former Manchester United, Tottenham and Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov is on his way back to England.

Berbatov, who scored 94 goals in 229 games between 2006 and 2014, has expressed his desire to return to the Premier League and one club in particular are interested in his services.

Swansea manager Bob Bradley has only been in charge at Swansea for a matter of weeks but the American has already expressed an interest in bringing free agent Berbatov to the Liberty Stadium in January.

Bradley revealed the 35-year-old is 'on his radar' as he looks to improve Swansea's form in front of goal, and states that he's met the Bulgarian forward 'a few times'.

Bradley said: "I saw Dimitar in May at a celebration game for Hristo Stoichkov in Sofia.

"I've met him a few times and I know he is anxious to get back in the Premier League. Everyone inside our club knows that.

"I know his intentions and have seen good things in the past, so where it goes we will see. But he is on my radar."

Berbatov has already told the Swansea manager that he is eager to get back to the Premier League after he was released from Greek side PAOK in June.

It'll be tough for Berbatov to regain match fitness, but we all know his potent nature in front of goal.

You don't lose that.
