Isco starred for Spain against Argentina, bagging a stunning hat-trick, and following the game, he gave an honest interview about Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

Playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu has been limited under the Frenchman.

Yet he was able to put his club woes behind him through the international break. Spain played Germany then Argentina, with Isco producing heroics.

Spain drew 1-1 with Germany before spanking Argentina 6-1 which included not one but THREE goals from the Real Madrid ace.

And Isco has highlighted the faith stored in him by Spanish boss Julen Lopetegui for his performance, while comparing his situation at Real Madrid.

"In Madrid, I don't have the confidence a player needs," he said in his post-match interview as quoted by Marca via Sky Sports.

Isco is undoubtedly a top, top player. However, he's able to produce outings like last night through the confidence instilled in him.

"The matches with the national team give me life. Here, I have the confidence of the coach.

"I want to show that I'm a good player. Lopetegui shows me confidence with the minutes he gives me.

"Maybe I'm the problem in Madrid. I don't know how to win Zidane's confidence.

Even though Spain netted six pass the visitors, Isco claims the match wasn't easy who were without influential captain Lionel Messi.

"Despite the result, this match wasn't easy. They made things difficult for us, they were very aggressive.

"We mustn't forget that this is part of our preparation for the World Cup. The victory can give us a lot," he added.

Spain are grouped with Portugal (their opening game of the World Cup), Morocco as well as Iran, and the 'La Roja' are tipped by some to go all the way.
