Anthony Joshua could very well fight a Fury by the end of a year. Just not the unified heavyweight champion, instead his cousin.

The unbeaten IBF champion is coming off a successful maiden title defence over American Dominic Breazeale, as he eyes up his next opponent.

Hughie Fury, like Joshua, is sporting a perfect professional record, most recently earning a technical decision over the veteran Fred Kassi.

Despite Joshua having a mandatory obligations in Joseph Parker, the Kiwi is set for another tune-up fight before he tangles with the former Olympic gold medalist, paving the way for another voluntary defence.

'AJ' has gone on record saying he wants a serious contender, and the 20-0 fighting Fury clan could well prove to be just that.

Head coach Peter Fury seems open to the fight as well as Eddie Hearn.

Meanwhile, Fury is amidst a gloomy drug doping allegations though remains confident he'll clear his name in time for a huge domestic clash.
