Is Andy Carroll Taking The Piss With His Toughest Ever Opponent?!

Really, Andy?!

The physical forward poses many threats to defenders but who are the toughest opponents Andy Carroll has faced?

Carroll often finds himself in a battle with the opposing centre-halfs from aerial challenges to a fight attempting to hold the ball up.

Coming face-to-face with some of the finest and hardest bastards to grace the Premier League.

John Terry, Nemanja Vidic. Laurent Koscielny, to name but a few.

Though the towering-Geordie has dumbfounded us by naming a certain 'defender' as one of the hardest players he's come up against.

"Gary Cahill. Timing, reading, good leap, very good." He said during an interview with the Daily Mail.

There can't be too much complaint about Cahill. An England international and a regular for Chelsea. Yet the same cannot be said about Lucas. A makeshift central defender.

"And Liverpool's Lucas Leiva. Oh my God. He played centre half against us. I don't know what it was."

"Every time I went for the ball he gave me a little nudge, the referee was never going to give a foul and I never wanted a foul, but he did me every time. Just judging me so well and knocking me off balance. I couldn't play against him."

Really Andy?!
