Frank de Boer is no longer Inter Milan manager after being relieved of his duties and the Nerazzurri's board informed the Dutchman via Skype.
The reasoning behind the bizarre mode of dismissal is because of the clubs Chinese owners. His position was becoming untenable following losing the support of the players and a disappointing first three months in charge of the three time European champions.
Inter are currently 11th in Serie A and lost once again last weekend, falling to a 1-0 defeat against Sampdoria. Primavera coach Stefano Vecchi is expected to replace de Boer on an interim basis, with Stefano Pioli believed to be the favourite to become the next permanent manager at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium.

Early reports suggest that ex-PSG boss Laurent Blanc as well as Stefano Pioli are being lined up to fill the managerial vacancy.
