There were sensational scenes in the Vanarama National League play-off final this afternoon after Torquay's goalkeeper Lucas Covolan scored a 95th minute equaliser.
Torquay were on the verge of losing the huge fixture to Hartlepool, who took the lead in the first half through Luke Armstrong.
But deep into stoppage time, the desperate Devon outfit sent their goalkeeper up to cause some chaos in the dying embers and the move worked a treat.
Having stayed up for the second phase, Covolan headed home a cross launched into the box and the celebrations were just utterly incredible at Ashton Gate.
The dramatic last-gasp goal from the most unlikely source took the game to extra time, with the winner securing promotion to the EFL next season.

There aren't many better sights in football than a goalkeeper scoring late on and Covolan's late leveller followed up heroics from Liverpool shotstopper Alisson Becker, who headed home the winner against West Brom last month and helped the Reds finish in the top four.
Football, bloody hell.
