Leicester City's achievement of winning the Premier League, captured on Monday via Spurs draw with Chelsea, is about far more than money however in this day and age where football means big business the Foxes are set for a big windfall for their success.

It's still difficult to get your head around what Claudio Ranieri's team have done this season and even on Saturday, when they finally get their hands on the trophy against Everton, it still won't feel like reality to many and probably most of all Wes Morgan who will lift the title first.

Whilst money will be far from the minds of the fans, players, manager or even to some extent the owner as a high priority their league victory, achieved with two games to spare that guarantees them a guard of honour at Stamford Bridge, will land them some big bucks with Deloitte's Tim Bridge explaining just how much:

"This year alone, we'd expect that they will receive between £30-50m more as a result of just winning the league and their finishing position being first, compared to the 14th it was last year.

"And that is notwithstanding the fact that, potentially, commercial agreements that they hold will have bonuses and uplifts as a result of them winning the League.

"But the real financial carrot is next season.

"If Leicester continue their strong domestic performance and stay up near the top of the League, while also competing in the UEFA Champions League, they can expect a pretty significant revenue increase.

"If that happens, we'd expect Leicester to become a fixture in our Deloitte football money league, which ranks the top 20 clubs globally in terms of revenue."

Sheffield Hallam University's football finance expert Rob Wilson also told Sky that he expects the Foxes to pick up £50 million from competing in the Champions League from prize money and tv deals and the like whilst he predicted that European competition for the next two or three seasons would guarantee them a further £50 million from sponsorship deals.

Next season the Premier League's record TV deal, worth around £5.1 billion, kicks into effect with the bottom placed side set to pocket around £100 million in "prize money."

Whether or not the club owned by Thai billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha can continue their success remains to be seen with even Ranieri suggesting a top 10 finish is the aim for next season. If they do though they'll earn a lot of money.
