Dejan Lovren has made plenty of mistakes this season, so he's probably been punishing himself a lot.
Prior to the mega-sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for a reported £142 million, Liverpool themselves made a high-profile acquisition in the shape of Southampton's Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool snapped up the Dutch defender for a club record £75 million.
As a result, Lovren is set to play second fiddle to van Dijk.
And he started on the bench as he returned to his first Premier League club.

But ahead of the league clash, Lovren sat down with Sky Sports and revealed how he punishes himself whenever he commits a mistake.
"I'm my biggest critic of myself when I make mistakes," he said.
"I don't talk to anyone for a couple of days - this is me. This is the punishment for myself.
Earlier in the season, Lovren came under a barrage of abuse for his performances. Most notably against Spurs' Harry Kane. To be fair, not many defenders have been able to keep him quiet.
He endured a nightmare outing, eventually getting dragged off by his manager.

But he's not bothered what people think about. What's important is what the manager says.
"What do other people think? I'm not bothered. What's important is what the manager says because he is the man in charge of me. If he's positive about me then that's confirmation for myself that I'm one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
"When you go 18 games unbeaten people will say 'wow he's really good' but when you make mistakes they will point the finger at the back four," Lovren added.
Is Lovren's punishment to himself strange? What do you reckon? Let us know.
