Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah fall short as Ander Herrera names the 'best player in the premier league'.

Manchester United star Herrera has revealed in The Big Interview with Graham Hunter who he believes is the best player in the premier league, and it probably isn't who you'd expect.

'The Egyptian King' took the premier league by storm going on to win the FWA Player of the year award as well as the golden boot, but Herrera claims Belgium born Chelsea forward Eden Hazard snatches the title.

"For me, Hazard is the best player in the league, in my opinion he's the best player in the league, I've said that since my first day here." Said Herrera with Graham Hunter via Mirror.

"For me, David [De Gea] is the best [goalkeeper] by far."

He added: "I think he has something that comes from god. God chose him in the goal and god chose [Lionel] Messi on the pitch.

"You cannot train what he did against Liverpool. You cannot train what he did against Kun Aguero when he was two metres in front of him and he put the hand out, you cannot train it."

Hazard who's yet to impress critics on a goal scoring front in the Premier League has only scored 12 goals this year, a downgrade from his personal best 16 last season.
