Harry Redknapp hit the nail on the head when it comes to England and the international fixtures as the Premier League rolls back into action this weekend.
The international stage took priority last week following the World Cup qualifiers. But fuck where they boring. England played Malta before completing the internationals with a game at Slovenia.

Interim-boss Gareth Southgate took charge of his first England game with a dull 2-0 victory against Malta, then a goalless draw to Slovenia capped off the underwhelming week.
As the domestic competition resumed which included Crystal Palace vs. West Ham, Redknapp was on punditry duty and perfectly summed up the state of international football and moreover the sorry state of affairs that is the England national team.
Spot on.
