One of the most enjoyable elements of behind-closed-doors football is hearing players hurl expletives at their teammates - something Harry Maguire did last night in last night's 3-0 win over former club Sheffield United.

At the end of the first half, with the hosts leading 1-0, the Manchester United captain completely lost it with Luke Shaw after some slack play from the left-back.

Paul Pogba took a quick free-kick that Shaw was not ready for and Lys Mousset, who had just been off the pitch, nipped in to nick the ball. Possession changed hands briefly before the ball ended up with Maguire at the back.

After he passed the ball, a livid Maguire screamed "F***ing switch on!" at Shaw - with the shout very easily heard by those who didn't have Sky Sports' fake crowd noise on.

United fans very much enjoyed the leadership qualities displayed from their skipper.

Maguire is highly vocal on the pitch and you hear him loudly barking orders at teammates in these empty stadium games - having already seen him do so in United's Europa League away win over Austrian outfit LASK.

It was a proper Sunday League shout from him but one that United fans certainly enjoyed.
