Pep Guardiola has admitted that Claudio Bravo wasn't his first-choice when it came to picking out a goalkeeper to sign for Manchester City.

Guardiola demands a specific type of goalkeeper to play in his possession-based team and controversially cast aside Joe Hart from his plans at the club.

He then signed Claudio Bravo from Barcelona but it was another goalkeeper playing for the Catalans that was his first-choice.

During his pre-match press conference ahead of Barcelona vs City today, the former Bayern boss admitted that Marc-Andre Ter Stegen was his priority in the summer.

Bravo was first-choice at Barcelona last season but will now head to the Nou Camp as Manchester City's No.1. Ter Stegen was Barcelona's keeper in the Champions League a few years back when they met City and denied Sergio Aguero from the spot at the Nou Camp.
