It will be a special night for Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka as he plays against boyhood club FC Basel in a Champions League Group A clash.

The 24-year old grew up in the North-West of Switzerland and was soon snapped up by his hometown club, where he spent his youth career before stepping up to the first-team fold.

Now, tonight he will make an emotional return against the team who gave him his professional debut and will square off against his brother Taulant for the second time; the two were on opposing sides in the Euro 2016 game between Switzerland and Albania.

Xhaka posted a brilliant message on Instagram ahead of the big occasion.

It was the younger Xhaka who emerged victorious last time the brothers met. The second meeting gets underway at 19:45 tonight.
