Gonzalo Higuaín’s Pay Package At Chelsea Has Been Revealed
Gonzalo Higuaín is reportedly on the verge of leaving AC Milan and completing his move to Chelsea.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is desperate to reinforce his attacking options, with Álvaro Morata allowed to leave the club should a replacement be signed.
According to the Daily Star, Higuaín will be pocketing £270,000 a week once he moves to Stamford Bridge.
It is also reported that the Blues would have to pay Juventus £9m to keep him for the rest of the season.
AC Milan signed the 31-year-old Argentine striker on a season-long loan last summer. As part of the deal, I Rossoneri had the option to make the deal permanent after his loan spell for €36m.
AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso recently admitted that he would accept the former Real Madrid star's decision to leave the club.
"I want to be honest with you all," he said (via theLondon Evening Standard). "We had a poor training session today due to all these rumours. We spoke after the training session and I did not consider him ready for this game.
"I accept his decision. Surely he could have done more and maybe we could have helped him fit in better.

"Right now, we have to work with professionalism and determination, all these rumours have not helped us lately and we have to look ahead."
It's not the first time that Gattuso has spoken about the matter. In fact, the 41-year-old Italian manager had made some unusual comments about Higuaín.
"I've talked to him a great deal but it's hard to give advice because the career of a player only lasts 13-14 years," he explained.
"It's his mind, not mine. The most important thing is to talk as men, look each other in the eyes and speak the truth.
"I still don't understand what Higuaín's unhappy about because I see a happy lad, involved in the locker room.
"We'll see what happens. If it was up to me, I'd keep him at my house and feed him my dinner."
