It's hard to argue against Kylian Mbappe winning the Golden Boy 2017 award. But there's room for debate for third place between Marcus Rashford and Gabriel Jesus.

Though the Manchester United and Manchester City attackers are embroiled in a spot of confusion.

Mbappe was confirmed the winner of Golden Boy 2017 following his heroics for AS Monaco, last season. From goals in the domestic league which culminated in the Ligue 1 title to scoring for fun in the Champions League, breaking record-after-record.

His prolific goal-scoring form resulted in a huge transfer across France with Paris Saint-Germain securing his services in the summer window.

Fellow French starlet Ousmane Dembele finished second, while Marcus Rashford pipped Jesus to third spot.

Though his positioning has sparked confusion. Before announcing Mbappe as the 2017 winner, Italian outlet Tuttosport unveiled the final three nominees which included Mbappe, Dembele and Jesus.

But as the top ten rolled out, Rashford, despite not making the final cut, has edged out Jesus.

Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Mario Balotelli and Raheem Sterling are other names you've held the title of Golden Boy.
